MEA Trivia Night. For the past 3 consecutive years Red Scooter has been fortunate enough to host the Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) Annual Trivia night. This event is huge in our industry – talked about continuously with members genuinely looking forward to it all year. (nothing to do with 2011’s event featuring our very own GM on the table singing I’m sure…). Being our fourth year in a row (and fifth overall) hosting, we knew it was our job to keep it fresh, memorable and absolutely more fun than the previous years. This was easy! Our delicious Yum Cha Station welcomed our members, with guests lining up again and again for more tasty dumplings; especially our Red Scooter attendees for whom this was a rare treat!
CATERING FOR TRIVIA NIGHTS
Our dinner setting was revealed in spectacular Scooter fashion (soundtrack “eye of the tiger”!) and Oliver and Matt from BeChallenged took the reins. Our staff were on hand to keep the crowd fed and watered, serving beautiful canapés in a banquet style to the centre of the table. Trivia continued in the extremely competitive manner that only event professionals are capable of, and after rounds of questions, challenges and sing offs; the winner was announced and wooden spoon awarded. We won neither.
