Here are three tips from our experts for planning a wedding of things you need to make sure to plan on your big day — things that only you can be certain get done:
Take time with your spouse
It’s your big day, but it’s a BIG DAY. With so much going on, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and lost in the wedding details. Many couples forget that this is a day to spend together, joining their lives forever as one.
On your wedding day, make sure to take time with your spouse. Start the morning off right by having a cup of coffee or a bite to eat together before you’re whisked off to wedding prep. Also you may not be able to see each other before the ceremony, but take a few minutes before the reception to just relax and enjoy your partner’s company. Eat together, dance together, and do as many things as you can together before rushing off to your honeymoon.
Today is about the two of you.
The wedding photographer you hired isn’t going to be the only one taking photos. Every one of your guests are going to have smartphones with cameras. You just found a great source of free wedding photos to add to your collection!
Furthermore, during the party portion of the evening, have one or two members of your wedding party go around and collect those photos. Make sure they connect the phones to a laptop and download the pictures onto a hard drive to bring home. That way, you’ll get thousands of photos of your wedding on top of those taken by your photographer.
Ensure someone brings back important items
You’d be amazed by how many items get left, lost, or forgotten at the wedding venue. First of all, your job is to focus on enjoying your big day, therefore make sure someone else is in charge of picking up any important things left behind.
This includes wedding presents, goodie bags not given to guests, or any valuables forgotten at the table. Designate someone to ensure you take everything important from the wedding venue and bring it home.
As a result these three tips can help to make your wedding day a lot more enjoyable, and a lot less stressful. With our help, you can have the wedding you’ve always dreamed of. Let Red Scooter be the support staff and venue provider of your choice.
