For Sharon and Stephen, this wedding was about a celebration of friends and family gathering together in an intimate and beautiful setting.
Sharon’s heritage is Chinese and Indian, with a rich history of lavish weddings with minimum 400 people. Although her Mum had already planned something of this description in Singapore, their Melbourne nuptials were about their closest companions with an intimate crowd of 100.With specific ideas in mind and tailoring our Madisson Room with traditional décor, Sharon made over 40 Chinese lanterns to be hung around the space, with the addition of fairy lights as well.
Both bride and groom coming from a salsa dancing background; dancing featured heavily in the evening’s festivities, with a quick dress change made prior to their first dance for maximum manoeuvrability! Roving dessert was a great option for their guests, as majority didn’t make it off the dance floor for the remainder of the evening!
