The life of an apprentice chef working in a Melbourne Wedding Venue is quite different to any other apprenticing chef I have spoken to. I am currently doing my schooling at William Angliss Institute and have spoken to a variety of other students about their workplaces. Most work à la carte service in restaurants around Melbourne, some are apprenticing with catering companies, but I don’t think that anything could compare to contributing towards someone’s special day.
COUNTING MY SELF LUCKY
I count myself very lucky to be working where I do. There is a reason why Red Scooter is one of the most awarded wedding venues in Australia, which is a standard both Flora and Eammon Hamilton respectively, along with their various staff members both past and present, have worked very hard to achieve. What you’re left with is a team of people all working together to match and exceed this standard from the early planning stages of an event, to the time the guests have left all with that special Red Scooter smile.
